The years where effort starts to show. Kids learn real technique, put on the gear to spar, and find out what they are capable of when they keep showing up.

What a kids class looks like
Kids classes go further than the basics. Students sharpen their kicks on pads and targets, learn their forms, and, as they progress, put on helmets and chest protectors to spar with classmates their own size. Every drill has a reason, and the instructors make sure kids understand it.
This is also where belts start to mean something. Each one marks real progress, and kids learn that practice turns into results and that a hard thing done well is worth the work.
What they work on
- Technique. Front, side, roundhouse and spinning kicks, blocks and strikes, done properly.
- Forms. Set patterns of movement that build memory, precision and calm under pressure.
- Sparring. Controlled, supervised, in full protective gear, when students are ready for it.
- Character. Respect, self-control and finishing what you start, on the mat and off it.
Competition, for those who want it
Students have competed at World Martial Arts Federation tournaments and come home with trophies.
